    • Ron Fricke - in this video interview, director of photography Ron Fricke discusses his contribution to Koyaanisqatsi.     • Original Visual Concept - in this short video interview, director Godfrey Reggio discusses some of the initial concepts and designs to be used in Koyaanisqatsi. The interview was conducted for Criterion in 2012. In English, not subtitled. (5 min, 1080p).
    • 1977 Demo Version - in 1977, director Godfrey Reggio took a silent demo version of Koyaanisqatsi to the Naropa Institute, where he showed it to poets Allen Ginsberg and Peter Orlovsky. Together, the three recorded a scratch music track for portions of the film, with Allen Ginsberg chanting and playing the harmonium. Presented here is the full silent demo version, taken from the 16mm work print, and two portions of the demo with the corresponding music from the scratch track, which was recorded on an audio cassette. Also included is a 2012 introduction by Godfrey Reggio.
